HireCare Services is seeking compassionate and motivated Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide high-quality ABA therapy services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. This role offers flexible scheduling, professional development, and the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families across Community, VA, and surrounding areas.

What You’ll Do

As a Behavior Technician, you will provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Services may take place in home, school, or community-based settings depending on client needs.

You will:

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans developed by a BCBA

• Provide structured support to build communication, social, and daily living skills

• Collect accurate and timely behavioral data during sessions

• Communicate client progress and concerns with supervising clinicians

• Complete professional session notes in a timely manner

• Build positive, supportive relationships with clients and families

• Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, and professionalism

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred)

• Active RBT certification preferred OR willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to follow clinical direction and work independently

• Reliable, punctual, and adaptable in different environments (home, school, community)

Schedule

• Part-time and full-time Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) positions available

• Flexible scheduling based on client availability and caseload

• Primarily afternoon and after-school hours (Monday–Friday)

• Weekend hours available as needed

• 15–25+ hours per week depending on availability

Compensation

$23–$29 per hour
Based on experience, certification status, and caseload availability.
