Odin Health & Rehab Center is seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join our leadership team!
The Director of Nursing is a key member of the Odin Health & Rehab leadership team and plays a vital role in coordinating a patient-centered nursing strategy focused on delivering exceptional resident care. This leadership position contributes to the facility’s strategic planning, supports organizational goals, and helps guide and mentor nursing staff in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Lead, manage, and support nursing staff in a collaborative, resident-focused environment
Ensure patient care meets all local, state, and federal regulations
Oversee nursing compliance and contribute to strategic facility planning
Train, mentor, and motivate nursing staff while implementing policies and procedures
Collaborate with physicians, residents, and families to ensure quality care outcomes
Support quality assurance, risk management, and performance improvement initiatives
Provide guidance and leadership focused on resident safety and staff success
Foster a culture of teamwork, compassion, and accountability
Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Previous nursing leadership experience, preferably in a nursing home or long-term care setting
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices
Team-oriented leader passionate about quality resident care
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Dedicated to supporting staff development and positive resident outcomes
