We’re looking for an experienced Automotive Refinish Technician who takes pride in producing high-quality, factory-like finishes and wants to build a career with a dependable, team-focused company.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare all parts and panels for refinishing, including adjacent blend panels.
• Sand surfaces for primer and paint application.
• Properly mask and protect vehicles and surrounding panels.
• Apply primer and block panels to achieve a smooth, level finish.
• Mix and apply primers, sealers, basecoats, and clear coats according to manufacturer procedures.
• Blend panels as needed to ensure an accurate color match.
• Inspect completed work for color, texture, coverage, and overall quality.
• Use finishing abrasives, sanding products, buffers, and compounds to refine painted surfaces.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturer repair standards.
• Work collaboratively with technicians and production team members to keep repairs moving efficiently.

Qualifications

• At least two years of automotive refinishing experience or relevant vocational training.
• Knowledge of automotive paint preparation, application, blending, and polishing techniques.
• Ability to consistently produce high-quality work with close attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and manage parts weighing more than 50 pounds and regularly stand, squat, kneel, and bend.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
• Dependable, organized, team-oriented, and committed to maintaining a positive attitude.
