Job Description:
We are seeking motivated, relationship-driven sales professionals to develop and manage a portfolio of mortgage broker partners throughout an assigned territory. This role focuses on building new business relationships while maintaining strong partnerships with existing accounts. Candidates will receive comprehensive onboarding and ongoing training to become experts in the company's lending products and sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and develop new business relationships with mortgage brokers and lending partners.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Grow existing accounts by identifying additional lending opportunities.
- Execute outbound sales activities through phone, email, virtual meetings, and other marketing channels.
- Utilize CRM tools to track client interactions, sales activity, and pipeline progress.
- Develop territory business plans and sales strategies to maximize production.
- Collaborate with operations and fulfillment teams to ensure an exceptional client experience.
- Stay current on residential mortgage products, lending guidelines, and industry trends.
- Deliver virtual presentations and product overviews to prospective and existing partners.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with clients to strengthen long-term business relationships.
- Share best practices and contribute to a collaborative sales culture.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in residential mortgage lending or a related industry preferred.
- Experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO), Loan Officer, Processor, Underwriter, or other mortgage-related role is highly transferable.
- Previous business development or sales experience is a plus.
- Understanding of residential mortgage products and lending guidelines is preferred.
- NMLS licensing is beneficial but not required.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
