Complete Care at Willow Creek is seeking an energetic, creative, and compassionate Recreation Director to lead our Activities Department. If you're passionate about enriching the lives of seniors through engaging programs and meaningful experiences, we'd love to meet you.

Our newly renovated skilled nursing and rehabilitation center is committed to providing exceptional care while creating a welcoming environment for both our residents and team members. As our Recreation Director, you'll have the opportunity to build innovative programs, lead a dedicated team, and make a lasting impact every day.

Recreation Director Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and oversee the facility's recreation and activities program

• Create engaging monthly activity calendars and resident newsletters

• Develop person-centered individual and group activities, including sensory and therapeutic programs

• Plan and coordinate resident, family, holiday, and employee appreciation events

• Supervise, train, and support the Recreation Department staff

• Complete required assessments, care plans, and documentation

• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

• Participate in Quality Assurance and interdisciplinary care team meetings

• Manage departmental budgets, supplies, and scheduling

• Foster a fun, engaging, and resident-centered environment

Recreation Director Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or applicable certification preferred

• Must possess one of the following credentials: ADC, CDP, or CTRS and TBI Certification

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

• Experience with care planning and regulatory compliance

• Computer proficiency and excellent time management skills
