With over 35 years in business, we have built a reputation for referring highly qualified professionals for rewarding short and long-term independent contract opportunities.Our Client is seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide service in Baltimore, MD.HoursSchool Hours - Mon to Friday (8am to 4pm)SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY * Establish and maintain a safe physical environment conducive to learning.* Plan and execute enrichment experiences such as field trips.* Write required reports/keep accurate and orderly records.* Work effectively with other staff members in the interdisciplinary setting to address students' needs.* Participate effectively in Interdisciplinary Meetings, staff/teacher meetings, Admission, Review, and Dismissal Committee Meetings, Planning Conferences, in-service training programs, Faculty Meetings.* Provide guidance and direction to assigned Program Aide or Assistant Teacher, ensuring that the Program Aide or Assistant Teacher demonstrates a participating role within the classroom.* Expand on; adapt current curriculum programs to meet student needs.* Develop individualized education plans for all assigned students.* Implement school-wide behavior management system.* Share with other staff coverage for lunch periods, school trips and late bus duty and library.* Perform other professional duties, as requested.CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE* Must have Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree (Preferred)* Minimum of 1 year experience working with youth with Autism * Teaching Certificate through the Maryland State Department of Eduction (Middle to High School)DTG ADVANTAGES* Establish a relationship with one of the nation's largest referral agencies for behavioral-health *Compensated weekly* Increase or decrease your schedule at your discretion: choose opportunities that best fit your schedule.* Ability to grow professionally.* Access to a broad array of client opportunities.COMPANY OVERVIEW Delta-T Group's mission is to provide cost-effective, reliable referrals, and innovative referral solutions, for the social services, behavioral health, allied health and special education fields, for the betterment of independent behavioral health professionals seeking new opportunities and those needing care and support.
