Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Available shift patterns: Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Complete required facility modules and competency assessments prior to and during assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry
• Active and unrestricted Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification – must be in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference required from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment within the past 12 months
• No open license hits or open background case findings

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience within a single facility
• Demonstrated proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition
• Familiarity with medication safety assessment practices
