Job Title

Travel RN – Med Surg / Telemetry (Nights)

Location

Saint Louis, MO | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected 36–48 hours/week | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient comfort and outcomes
• Care for a mixed adult patient population consisting of approximately 50% medical and 50% telemetry patients
• Function within the scope of nursing practice consistent with established state guidelines and nursing standards
• Float to a similar or lower acuity unit as needed
• Participate in full-week orientation on day shift prior to beginning night shift assignment

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license — must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or hold a current Missouri RN license
• BLS certification from AHA only
• ACLS certification from AHA only
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of telemetry experience
• Flu vaccination (or facility-approved exemption) required for assignments running November 1 – April 1; declinations are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Strong team-oriented approach with a focus on positive patient outcomes and superior communication
• Familiarity with standard telemetry unit equipment and workflows
