Job Description
We are looking for an Inventory Clerk to join our on-site team in Haverhill, Massachusetts. This contract opportunity has the potential to become permanent and is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-focused, and experienced in shipping, receiving, and inventory coordination. In this role, you will help keep materials moving accurately and efficiently while supporting both domestic and international logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
• Manage outgoing domestic and international shipments by preparing packages, completing required paperwork, and ensuring items are labeled correctly for transport.
• Work closely with carriers, freight partners, and customs-related contacts to arrange pickups, deliveries, and timely shipment movement.
• Receive inbound materials, compare delivered items against packing lists and purchase orders, and identify any shortages or discrepancies.
• Maintain compliance with shipping regulations, export requirements, and customs documentation standards for international orders.
• Monitor shipment progress and communicate delivery status, delays, or exceptions to internal teams as needed.
• Update inventory and warehouse records accurately to reflect receipts, shipments, and stock movement.
• Investigate and help resolve issues involving damaged goods, missing items, or delayed freight.
• Assist with day-to-day warehouse activities such as staging materials, organizing stock, and supporting receiving operations.• At least 2 years of experience in inventory, shipping and receiving, or warehouse support roles.
• Hands-on knowledge of international shipping processes and related documentation requirements.
• Experience preparing shipment records, labels, and carrier paperwork with a high level of accuracy.
• Familiarity with UPS shipping and coordinating deliveries through multiple logistics providers.
• Understanding of receiving inspection procedures and verifying incoming materials against order documentation.
• Ability to manage equipment or freight shipments while maintaining organized inventory records.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in an on-site environment.
