Qualifications:

  • Valid Oregon Teaching Certificate
  • Previous experience in special education, preferably at the elementary level

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans for elementary students (approximately 32 students)
  • Provide instruction in both dedicated special education settings and integrated classroom environments
  • Collaborate with paraprofessionals and general education teachers to deliver effective support
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse student needs
  • Monitor and report on student progress, maintaining detailed records
