Assembler

This role focuses on producing stainless steel hose assemblies and involves handling fibrous materials. The assembler will work primarily with a large reel of wire, measuring and cutting materials to specifications. The job requires standing most of the day and involves a repetitive process, including pressure testing hoses.

• Prepare and reset the assembly line to start the production cycle.
• Follow work instructions with attention to detail.
• Operate various pieces of equipment throughout the manufacturing process.
• Handle different raw materials carefully.
• Visually inspect parts to ensure they meet requirements.
• Keep records of approved and defective units.
• Perform pressure tests by attaching hoses to a test fixture and monitoring measurements when pressure is applied.

• Experience with a variety of hand tools such as conduit cutters, wire strippers, saws, arbor press, and drills.
• Prior mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to follow work instructions and document processes/steps.
• Experience in manufacturing and following repetitive processes.

• Experience with heavy hoses and their manipulation.
• Previous fabrication experience, preferably in sheet metal, is a plus.
• Production or job shop experience is beneficial.

This position offers a temp-to-perm opportunity with benefits provided after 90 days. The company is relocating production to Palm Beach, providing a great opportunity for growth within the company.

The work environment is air-conditioned, and the job involves standing most of the day on a production line. The process is highly repetitive.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
