Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students in specialized Autism and Early Years school programs. Expert behavior professionals are invited to contribute their expertise and passion to a collaborative educational environment, working onsite in a contract role that makes a tangible impact in the lives of children with moderate to severe cognitive needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • BCBA candidates must have active BCBA certification; school-based experience strongly preferred.
  • Behavior Specialist applicants require a DE PARA Permit and a relevant degree; experience within ABA programs or pursuit of BCBA certification is ideal.
  • Robust background in positive behavior support and experience in educational settings preferred.
  • Strong skills in data collection, program development, and implementation of behavior strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary school teams to develop and implement effective behavioral support plans.
  • Support program development and tailor behavioral interventions for students across Autism and Early Years/PreK classrooms.
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and implement evidence-based strategies.
  • Collect and analyze behavioral data to monitor progress and refine support as needed.
  • Provide consultation, coaching, and training to staff in best practices for managing challenging behaviors.
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation and collaborate with families to align support strategies.
  • Deliver all services onsite during the school year, following a full-time, weekday schedule.

This contract role offers the chance to play a pivotal part in enhancing students’ school experiences, working with a dedicated team in a supportive environment. The assignment runs from August 2026 to June 2027 with a consistent weekly Monday–Friday schedule.
