Step into a rewarding role supporting Autism and Early Years Programs in a dynamic educational setting! We are seeking dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and Behavior Specialists to play a crucial role in school-based services. This contract position runs from late summer through mid-June, providing the chance to make a significant difference in the lives of students with moderate to severe cognitive needs.
Key Qualifications:
- BCBA applicants must hold an active BCBA certification (school-based experience preferred). Please ensure verification of current certification is available.
- Behavior Specialist applicants must possess a DE PARA Permit and have a relevant degree. Ideal candidates are working within an ABA program, positioned between the RBT and BCBA levels, or pursuing BCBA certification. Strong experience in behavior support and in schools is preferred.
- Passion for collaborating with multidisciplinary school teams and tailoring interventions to student needs.
- Commitment to on-site support; no remote work offered.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans personalized to program needs.
- Collect and analyze data to inform, adjust, and report on student progress.
- Collaborate closely with educational staff, classroom teams, and families.
- Contribute to training educators and paraprofessionals on behavior strategies.
- Facilitate positive student outcomes in both Autism and Early Years (PreK) programs.
