Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience working or volunteering with children in an educational setting preferred
• Ability to follow teacher direction and adapt to varying classroom needs

• Flexibility to accommodate varying classroom assignments throughout the day
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or relevant certification is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in implementing instructional activities and reinforcing lessons
• Provide one-on-one or small group support for students, offering guidance and encouragement
• Help with classroom organization, materials preparation, and light clerical tasks
• Support students with special needs by following individualized plans, when needed
• Foster a positive, respectful learning environment and encourage student engagement
• Monitor student behavior and relay observations to teachers and staff
