Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students’ communication skills across two elementary schools. This engaging role is designed for a credentialed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) with experience in school-based or teletherapy settings. You’ll work on-site, alternating locations: Mondays and Wednesdays at one building, Tuesdays and Thursdays at another, with hours from 8:30 to 3:30 each day. With a manageable caseload of around 50-60 students, your expertise will make a meaningful impact on young learners’ academic and social success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active SLP-CCC certification
  • Previous experience in K-6 educational settings
  • Comfort with IEP processes and school-based paperwork
  • Experience in teletherapy a plus
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess speech and language abilities to determine eligibility and service needs
  • Develop and implement relevant therapy interventions aligning with students’ IEPs
  • Conduct therapy sessions (individual and small group) tailored to diverse needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and caregivers to support students’ communication development
  • Maintain clear, thorough documentation of services and progress notes
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings as needed
  • Contribute positively to a nurturing and inclusive school atmosphere
