School Occupational Therapist | Arvada, Colorado

Make a meaningful impact in the educational setting by supporting students as a school-based Occupational Therapist. This contract position involves working onsite, starting August 11 and continuing through May 21, 2027. The assignment runs three days per week, offering a balanced schedule in a dynamic learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDE (Colorado Department of Education) credential required, or eligible and able to show application for licensure
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Previous experience in a school-based setting highly preferred
• Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy and IEP processes
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group therapy to students to support their participation and success in school activities
• Conduct assessments and contribute to the development of IEPs alongside multidisciplinary teams
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, school staff, and families to facilitate student progress
• Document evaluation results, therapy plans, and ongoing progress according to school and regulatory standards
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development as required by the assignment

This is a fully onsite role with a set schedule of three days per week, ensuring you have dedicated time for direct student care and necessary collaboration.
