We are looking for an experienced SAP Systems Analyst - Procurement to provide functional and analytical support for procurement and operations teams. This long-term contract position is ideal for a business-facing specialist who can manage production issues, collaborate with technical teams, and help improve system performance across SAP ECC and SAP Ariba. The role combines day-to-day support with process optimization, user enablement, and close partnership with stakeholders across a global environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manage support requests from initial intake through final resolution, ensuring timely follow-up and clear communication with stakeholders.
• Investigate issues in SAP ECC and SAP Ariba, identify underlying causes, and work with technical resources when configuration changes or development are needed.
• Coordinate and lead user acceptance testing for fixes, updates, and enhancements before release into production.
• Support activities related to supplier onboarding, user account setup, and system access approvals in alignment with business needs.
• Review procurement-related master data for accuracy and help maintain strong data governance practices.
• Collaborate with business partners to uncover opportunities for workflow improvement and better use of procurement systems.
• Prepare reports on ticket volume, recurring issues, support performance, and enhancement progress for leadership and key users.
• Provide training, guidance, and ongoing assistance to end users to strengthen adoption and effective system usage.• At least 7 years of experience in a functional or techno-functional SAP systems analyst role supporting procurement processes.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC, with hands-on expertise in Materials Management and Procure-to-Pay operations.
• Experience supporting SAP Ariba in an enterprise environment.
• Proven background in incident management, troubleshooting, production support, and user acceptance testing.
• Familiarity with vendor setup, user provisioning, and security or access request support.
• Solid understanding of procurement, supply chain, and operational business processes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business users, technical teams, and global stakeholders.
• Certification in SAP Ariba or SAP MM, experience in large-scale environments, or a background in manufacturing or supply chain organizations is preferred.
