Parks Maintenance/Construction Worker - Mowing Crew - Now Hiring

St. Charles Parks and Recreation is seeking reliable and motivated part‑time and seasonal Park Maintenance Workers to help maintain the quality, safety, and appearance of our parks and recreational facilities. These positions play an important role in ensuring our community spaces remain inviting and well cared for.

Responsibilities

- Perform general grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, aeration, seeding, fertilization, and litter collection.

- Open and close park facilities and ensure restrooms are properly stocked and cleaned.

- Assist with turf care, trash removal, basic horticultural tasks, and landscape upkeep.

- Support light building construction, renovation projects, and minor mechanical work.

- Carry out additional routine maintenance tasks as assigned to support overall park operations.

Regular schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  (flexible days and hours available)

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred qualifications:

• 16 years or older
• Valid driver's license
