About this job
Job Description
Archways ABA | Full-Time | $60,000–$80,000/year, depending on experience
About the role: Archways ABA is opening a new center-based clinic in Lake St. Louis, and we’re hiring the person who will run it. This is a non-clinical leadership role - you own the day-to-day operation of the clinic: the doors, the schedule, the hiring pipeline, the family experience, and the intake funnel. You’ll work alongside our BCBAs, who own the clinical side, and report directly to ownership. We’re looking for someone who came up as an RBT, knows what a well-run clinic feels like from the floor, and is ready to be the most dependable person in the building.
What you’ll do• Own the building. Open and close the clinic every day. You set the tone: the clinic is ready before the first client arrives and secured after the last one leaves.
• Hire and grow the RBT team. Screen applicants, run interviews, coordinate offers and onboarding paperwork, and help new RBTs get credentialed and floor-ready.
• Care for parents. Be the face of the clinic for families — greet them at drop-off, answer questions, return calls the same day, and make sure no parent ever feels out of the loop.
• Run intake end to end. Respond to new inquiries fast, guide families through intake packets, insurance documents, and diagnosis paperwork, and keep every case moving through our CRM pipeline — no family sits in a stage for weeks.
• Keep operations tight. Manage the daily schedule and staff coverage, track authorizations and expiring documents, keep the facility safe, stocked, and clean, and flag issues before they become problems.
• And more. This is a new clinic — you’ll wear whatever hat the day requires, from vendor calls to community outreach that fills our census.
What you bring• RBT experience (required). You’ve worked as a Registered Behavior Technician and understand ABA services, session flow, and what families go through.
• Extreme reliability. The clinic literally cannot open without you. You’re on time, every time, and you don’t drop balls.
• Strong communication. You over-communicate with parents, staff, and ownership — in person, on the phone, and in writing.
• People judgment. Experience interviewing, training, or mentoring RBTs or similar staff.
• Organization. Comfortable living in a CRM/practice-management system, tracking documents, and keeping a pipeline clean.
• Warmth under pressure. Parents of children with autism are often stressed and overwhelmed — you meet them with patience and empathy.
Nice to have• Experience in an administrative, lead RBT, or office-manager role at an ABA clinic or pediatric therapy practice.
• Familiarity with insurance intake: benefits verification, authorizations, Medicaid (MO HealthNet) and commercial payers.
• Experience with hiring platforms (Indeed) and e-signature/document workflows.
Schedule, pay & benefits• Full-time, on-site. Hours align with clinic operating hours — you open and close daily.
• $60,000–$80,000/year, depending on experience, plus benefits.
• Ground-floor leadership role in a growing multi-site organization — you’ll shape how this clinic runs from day one.
