Greystone Golf & Country Club is seeking dedicated and proactive Patrol Security Officers to help safeguard our community, residents, members, Club properties, guests, and employees. This role is centered on maintaining a visible security presence, preventing incidents before they occur, and responding quickly and professionally when assistance is needed.
As a Patrol Security Officer, you will patrol the community and Club grounds, monitor for safety and security concerns, enforce traffic and parking regulations, respond to emergencies, and support special events and after-hours operations. Essential Functions:
Conducts continuous vehicle and foot patrols throughout assigned community zones and Club properties.
Monitors neighborhood streets, common areas, parks, perimeter fencing, and Club facilities with increased attention during evening and overnight hours.
Performs randomized patrol routes to deter criminal activity and maintain a visible security presence.
Increases patrol frequency around both Club locations during peak activity periods, special events, and after-hours operations.
Responds promptly to suspicious activity, emergencies, accidents, alarms, and resident or member requests for assistance.
Observes, investigates, documents, and reports security incidents while coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency responders when appropriate.
Performs electronic checkpoint scans to verify completion of required patrol routes.
Enforces community traffic and parking regulations, including speed enforcement, stop sign compliance, unauthorized parking, and other community safety violations.
Documents violations and issues community citations in accordance with established Board policies.
Monitors gates, perimeter access points, and common areas for unauthorized entry, property damage, or safety concerns.
Completes daily patrol logs, incident reports, vehicle inspections, and shift documentation accurately and promptly.
Maintains patrol vehicles and security equipment in a clean, safe, and operational condition.
Provides assistance with gate operations and access control when staffing needs require coverage.
Fills in as gate guard when needed.
Maintains professional communication with residents, members, guests, employees, and fellow team members while providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
Minimum 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
Ability to successfully complete required background checks and drug screening.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn visitor management software.
Strong verbal & written communication, observational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Professional appearance, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Ability to drive a patrol vehicle for extended periods.
Ability to stand, walk, and perform routine patrols for extended periods.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and humidity.
