Lead Estimator

About the Role

Lead Estimator to develop accurate, competitive cost estimates for construction projects. You'll analyze plans and specs, partner with project teams and subcontractors, and help lead the estimating function — including mentoring junior estimators.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services
• Conduct site visits to assess project conditions
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specs
• Track market trends, material costs, and labor rates
• Prepare and submit complete bid proposals
• Identify and mitigate project/estimating risks
• Mentor and develop other estimators on the team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of construction estimating experience
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills



Work Environment: Office-based, low noise, primarily desk/computer work
