Maintenance Technician Nights

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN POSITION DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

• Performs routine maintenance of facility and equipment to include, but is not limited to:
• Routine maintenance of building and plant
• Must be able to work well with a team
• Must be able self motivated
• Preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment
• Repairing broken or leaking plumbing
• Work on electrical wiring
• Maintain HVAC equipment
• Identify potential safety hazards.
• Painting, repairing, building, or applying materials to building surfaces.
• Respond immediately in the event of an emergency following safety protocol.
• Operate emergency alarm system (as required)
• Use an online work order system.
• Operate complex equipment (as required)

Qualifications/Skills:

• Experience with high voltage set up and install
• Experience with PLC controller set up and install
• Advanced understanding of electrical
• Have knowledge of variable frequency drive system install and programming
• Basic understanding of HVAC, Hydraulics
• Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician (preferably in food manufacturing)
• Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds.
• Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods
• Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including small hand tools and other equipment.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills

Education, Experience and Licensing Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
