Bartender - Bistecca Italian Steakhouse

Located just minutes away from all of the excitement of the glittering Las Vegas Strip and Las Vegas Convention Center, Tuscany Suites & Casino provides guests with a relaxing getaway perfect for business travelers, a long weekend with friends or your next family vacation. We are looking for an experienced Bartender to provide excellent customer service and executive handmade cocktail beverages to guests in the restaurant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• The primary responsibility of the Bartender is to provide prompt, friendly, and courteous service of food and beverage to our guests.
• Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages including non-alcoholic as ordered.
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks.
• Anticipate customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
• Assist servers with drinks and checks.
• Run register and maintain transactions and paperwork according to company standards.
• Making food and beverage recommendations to guests as appropriate.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails. Properly prepare all drinks and pour accurate measurements according to company standards and drink recipes.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
• Lift or carry 50 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED required. Must be 21 years old. Must have serving, fine dining, or steakhouse experience, including 2 years’ experience of restaurant service. The candidate is required to have basic wine, beer and spirits knowledge. Must be able to complete cash transactions accurately and efficiently, basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division a must. Must be able to obtain and maintain Health card, TAM card, Gaming registration, Non-gaming registration and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
