Collect necessary project specifications, determine the material quantities and costs, secure aggregate resources, coordinate with subcontractors, and build an accurate estimate of the cost of completing a given project. Consideration will be given to the project needs, capacity of the company to complete the project within budget and on time, while incorporating the various safety, environmental and quality demands of the project.

Collect necessary project specifications, determine the material quantities and costs, secure aggregate resources, coordinate with subcontractors, and build an accurate estimate of the cost of completing a given project. Consideration will be given to the project needs, capacity of the company to complete the project within budget and on time, while incorporating the various safety, environmental and quality demands of the project.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Estimate and provide bid amounts for future projects
- Collaborate with engineers to clarify the specifications and details of a project
- Solicit material suppliers and subcontractors to reach a timely and profitable outcome
- Determine necessary resources with consideration for budgetary limitations
- Identify safety concerns and address them within the bid process
- Provide all submittals to the engineer prior to installation of materials of equipment
- Determine the appropriate subcontractors for the project
- Evaluate progress regarding project schedule and final completion. Periodically consider historical cost associated with placing work and adjust bid pricing accordingly
- Communicate the assumptions from the bid process, construction costs and tracking needs, schedule, an other important project details to project supervisor and field management team.
- Effective communication skills, listen and comprehend a variety of directions and job expectations
- Ask appropriate questions if additional information is needed or expectations are not clear
- Performa a variety of tasks which depend on job needs and schedule

- Compensation Range: $100,000–$140,000 annually*
Education, Certifications, Licenses, Experience:
- Valid Driver's License
- Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering with at least 5 years' experience, prefer experience with B2W software
- It may be necessary to switch from task to task on a project throughout the day
- Must work well with others and be willing to work where needed
