Service Driver

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Service Shuttle Driver to join our dealership team. This position plays an important role in enhancing the customer experience by safely transporting customers to and from their homes, workplaces, or other destinations while their vehicles are being serviced. The ideal candidate is professional, punctual, safety-conscious, and committed to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive customers to and from their homes, offices, or other designated locations while their vehicles are being serviced
• Assist passengers entering and exiting vehicles as needed
• Maintain a timely and efficient shuttle schedule
• Use safe driving practices and sound judgment at all times
• Transport customer vehicles from the service drive to designated service areas once repair orders have been generated
• Transport dealership inventory or lot vehicles to other dealerships as needed
• Check incoming rental vehicles for cleanliness and fuel levels, addressing any deficiencies as necessary
• Wash customer "waiter" vehicles when temperatures are 32°ree;F or higher
• Operate radios or other communication devices to report service disruptions and coordinate transportation needs
• Maintain accurate trip records, including passenger names, destinations, and pickup locations
• Notify the dispatcher or service manager of any shuttle vehicle maintenance needs, including oil changes, tire service, cleaning, or general repairs
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
• Arrive on time and contribute positively to the team environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills & Abilities

• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to interact professionally with customers and respond to their needs
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• One to three months of related experience

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Extended periods of sitting while operating a vehicle
• Ability to assist passengers entering and exiting vehicles
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
