Cardiovascular Technologist – Electrophysiology Tech in Olathe, Kansas, United States. Start date: 09/06/2026 for 13 weeks in a travel assignment within a Short Term Acute Care Hospital EP lab. Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate for electrophysiology procedures, including pacemaker/ICD/Micra implants, ablations (Afib, Aflutter, WPW, SVT, VT, PVC), Watchman devices, laser lead extractions, and stimulation mapping; maintain sterile field and ensure instrument readiness.
- Assist with EP lab setup, case management, patient positioning, and equipment operation; monitor patient status during cases and assist with documentation in the EPIC system.
- Support room turnover and instrument cleaning; adhere to radiation safety, sterile technique, and hospital policies.
- Provide intra-procedural support as directed by EP physicians and EP nursing staff; participate in post-procedure care coordination as needed.
- May float to Cath/IR and EP labs to support staffing needs based on workload and assignment requirements.
Requirements
- Certifications: ARRT or RCIS or RCES; ACLS and BLS
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of electrophysiology experience; proven experience with pacemakers (PPM, ICD, Micra), ablations (Afib, Aflutter, WPW, SVT, VT, PVC), Watchman devices, laser lead extractions, and stimulation (Bloom)
- Floating: Ability to float to Cath/IR and EP labs as needed
- New graduates: Not accepted
