Job Description
You arrive to a quiet lab, power up training equipment, and lay out tools for a live demo on aircraft systems. As students file in, you set the tone with a quick safety talk and a hands-on exercise: diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing real components. Between labs, you mentor project teams, troubleshoot with individuals, and collaborate with fellow instructors to refine curriculum so it keeps pace with modern aviation maintenance technology.

What you’ll do- Build an inclusive, motivating learning environment that inspires student success.
- Lead interactive, hands-on training on aircraft systems—modeling real-world diagnostics, maintenance, and repair.
- Enhance and co-create curriculum alongside our education team to reflect industry standards and innovations.
- Coach and mentor students on individual and team projects, encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Champion safety protocols and best practices in every lab and lesson.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 4 years of practical aviation maintenance experience.
- FAA A&P license preferred; if yours is not current or you don’t have it yet, we’ll cover the cost to get you there.
- Clear, professional communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Patience and empathy with diverse learning styles.
- $35 per hour
- Weekends off
- Paid instructor training
