Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking an Assembler to join their team. As an Assembler, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Assembler
Location: Rainsville, AL
Pay Range: $17.00 per hour
Shift: Evenings 3:00 PM - 11:30 AM
*must be available to train on 1st shift for 2 weeks
What's the Job?
- Operate a variety of coil winding equipment, including hand-guided bench lathe machines and two-layer coil operations such as Bachi, Broomfield, and hand winders.
- Prepare coils for final stages of building and testing, including bending, shaping, cutting, sanding, soldering, and attaching wires/lugs with lugs or crimps.
- Use pneumatic and hydraulic crimping tools to ensure secure connections.
- Operate a robotic welder to support manufacturing processes.
- Utilize epoxy and silica sand for potting transformers, maintaining waste levels within acceptable limits.

- Good verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- Ability to read and interpret processes, visual aids, control drawings, bills of material, specifications, plans, drawings, shop aids, instructions, and examples.
- Strong time management skills to meet production deadlines.
- Self-motivation, high organization, and problem-solving skills to handle various tasks.
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities.
