Financial Systems Analyst

Location: Hybrid (Akron, OH; Greensburg, PA; Wheeling, WV; Fairmont, WV; or Morristown, NJ)
Contract: 24-month contract with potential for extension or full-time hire
Pay: $36/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) match

What You'll Do

• Work with Finance and business teams to understand reporting needs.
• Create and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Analyze budgets, forecasts, expenses, and financial trends.
• Build and update Power BI dashboards for leadership teams.
• Automate reports and improve reporting processes.
• Write SQL queries to pull, validate, and analyze data.
• Help maintain and improve data reporting systems, including Databricks.
• Ensure reporting data is accurate and reliable.
• Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
• 1-3+ years of experience in financial reporting, business analysis, data analytics, business intelligence, or a related area.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience building reports or dashboards in Power BI (or similar tools).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Databricks.
• Experience with Python, Pandas, or similar analytics tools.
• Familiarity with Azure data and analytics tools.
• Experience working with data from multiple business systems.
• Experience with ERP, financial, or operational data platforms.
• Experience in utilities, manufacturing, financial services, or other large corporate environments.
