Estimator

The Estimator plays a critical role in the project management team by preparing precise cost estimates for high-end residential renovation projects. This position requires thorough analysis of project specifications, collaboration with managers, and effective communication with suppliers to develop accurate and timely budgets that support bid proposals and overall project planning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential construction projects ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Analyze project specifications and collaborate with project managers to define scope and requirements.
• Evaluate material, labor, and equipment costs to create comprehensive budgets.
• Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather pricing information.
• Assist in bid proposal preparation and review project budgets for approval.
• Monitor and update cost databases as needed to reflect current market trends and pricing.
• Support value engineering efforts to optimize project costs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports for all estimation activities.

Required Qualifications

• Familiarity with high-end residential construction and development processes.
• Experience with cost estimation tools and software.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
