Truck Driver Class A

We are seeking a professional Class A CDL driver for a W2 position running a hybrid local and regional route. You will operate reliable, well-maintained equipment while pulling dry vans and reefers. Enjoy competitive percentage-based pay, great home time, and a consistent schedule.

Compensation, Schedule, and Fleet

• Pay Structure: 25% gross load pay per run (W2 employment).
• Equipment: 2020 or newer Volvo trucks.
• Home Time: Home nightly for the vast majority of runs.
• Weekends: Off almost every weekend.
• Benefits: Please note that health insurance and 401(k) plans are not offered at this time.

Job Responsibilities

• Route Execution: Drive Class A tractor-trailers safely on daily local routes or occasional regional runs.
• Equipment Handling: Safely operate 2020 Volvo trucks pulling dry van and refrigerated (reefer) trailers.
• Freight Management: Experience 100% no-touch freight using drop-and-hook or live dock loading.
• Inspections: Complete thorough DOT pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections daily.
• Compliance: Maintain electronic logging devices (ELD) and hours-of-service records accurately.
• Communication: Report delays, maintenance needs, or route changes immediately to dispatch.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years (24 months) of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer driving experience.
• License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Medical: Current DOT physical exam and valid medical card.
• Record: Clean motor vehicle record (MVR) and safe driving history.
• Screening: Must pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test and background check.
