NP Nurse Practitioner

Independent Internal Medicine practice seeking a Nurse Practitioner.

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and obtain detailed medical histories
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients
• Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Provide health education to patients and their families
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care
• Document patient information and treatment plans accurately in EMR

Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner Qualifications & Skills

• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New Jersey practice
• Prior experience working in an internal medicine or primary care setting
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage complex cases
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Proficiency in EMR and medical documentation
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus
• Strong understanding of internal medicine principles and practices
• Ability to perform clinical procedures relevant to internal medicine
• Excellent diagnostic and critical thinking skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards
