Staff Accountant

A growing Kansas City company is looking to add a Staff Accountant to its team.  This role will perform accounting and administrative duties supporting the Finance department and will ensure payments are processed on time and accurately.

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for a variety of duties that include:

• Daily cash reporting
• Assist with month end close and financial reporting
• Preparation of journal entries
• Bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Cash flow projects
• Other needs as assigned by the Manager

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting is preferred
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
