Cell Phone Repair Technician

Pay: $17.51-$23.51/hour
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview

Are you someone who enjoys working with technology, troubleshooting issues, and repairing electronic devices?

We're seeking a detail-oriented Cell Phone Repair Technician to join a growing team. In this role, you'll diagnose, repair, test, and prepare smartphones and tablets while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and data security.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, offering the chance to get your foot in the door with a growing organization while demonstrating your skills and work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot smartphone and tablet hardware and software issues
• Repair and replace components such as screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, and other device parts
• Accurately document processing results, inventory updates, and repair records
• Clean, test, and prepare devices for resale or redeployment
• Track replacement parts and maintain organized work orders
• Maintain a clean and safe workstation
• Package, sort, move, and palletize equipment as needed
• Operate pallet jacks and carts safely
• Follow all quality control, compliance, and data security procedures
• Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED
• Working knowledge of smartphone and tablet hardware/software
• Experience performing electronic device disassembly and reassembly
• Familiarity with precision repair tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, twist, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally

Preferred

• Mobile device repair certifications
• Board-level diagnostics or soldering experience
• Previous experience in electronics repair, refurbishment, or technical production environments
