Janitor / Custodian - Part Time - Now Hiring

Our client, a community-focused organization dedicated to maintaining a welcoming and clean environment, is seeking a Janitor / Custodian - Part Time to join their team. As a Janitor / Custodian - Part Time, you will be supporting the maintenance of the building, kitchen, and school facilities. The ideal candidate will have dependability, organization, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Janitor / Custodian - Part Time

Location: Briarcliff Manor, NY

Pay Range: $20.00/hr

Shift: 

• Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – approximately 2:00 PM
• Sunday: 8:30 AM – approximately 3:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, synagogue, and school facilities through sweeping, trash removal, and cleaning
• Assist with food preparation for events and religious services
• Perform light handyman duties such as painting and changing lightbulbs
• Set up tables and chairs for events and prepare trays with drinks and challah for classrooms
• Support custodial needs throughout the facility and assist with classroom cleaning after school activities

What's Needed?

• Experience in maintenance, janitorial, or cleaning roles preferred but not required
• Comfort working in a kitchen and assisting with food prep
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently
• Ability to work around children and support school activities
• Pre-Screenings required if selected
