Registered Nurse - Home Health

Location: Redding, CA

Start Date: 08-18-2026

End Date: 11-17-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in patients' homes, focusing on wound care management including wound vacs and ostomy care
• Monitor and manage cardiac patients with CHF, pneumonia, and other conditions
• Administer IV antibiotics and perform PICC line care and lab draws
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care
• Maintain accurate documentation using Homecare HomeBase EHR on a Samsung tablet
• Educate patients and families on disease management and treatment plans

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of home health regulations and OASIS
• Skills in wound assessment and care
• IV therapy and PICC line management
• Effective communication and patient education
• Time management and ability to work independently

Requirements

• Valid RN license in California
• 2 years of home health experience
• BLS certification
• Valid driver's license and insurance
• Experience with Homecare HomeBase EHR
• Experience with wound care, wound vacs, and ostomies
