Job Details- Position: Registered Nurse – Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility (RN – LTC/SNF)
- Location: Camarillo
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Day Shift
- Schedule: 3×12
- Experience Required: 2 Years
- Weekly Pay: $2200 to $2380
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing setting
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications, IV therapy, wound care, tube feedings, and other prescribed treatments
- Monitor resident conditions and promptly communicate changes to physicians and the healthcare team
- Supervise and delegate responsibilities to Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs/LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
- Coordinate admissions, transfers, discharges, and interdisciplinary care planning
- Educate residents and family members regarding treatment plans, medications, and ongoing care needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention practices, patient safety standards, and facility regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and resident-centered care planning
- Provide compassionate care that promotes dignity, comfort, and independence for residents
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Minimum 2 years of recent Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience
- Current BLS Certification required
- Strong knowledge of geriatric nursing, chronic disease management, medication administration, and rehabilitation care
- Experience supervising nursing support staff
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Excellent communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple residents in a fast-paced care environment
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
