Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Louisiana Childrens Medical Center Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Louisiana Childrens Medical Center Health System.

Additional Details:
You must be willing to float, work weekends, and generally just be very flexible.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: IR and EP experience required. Experience in all of the following is required: invasive cardiology, electrophysiology, structural heart, IR, and neuro intervention. Neuro thrombectomy experience required. Pacemaker experience required. Coil embolization and Rotablator experience required. Ablations, peripherals, and venous access experience required. Required equipment experience: Philips single plane/bi plane, Inari, Penumbra, Pounce, Impella, IABP, US, CSI, Shockwave, Rotoblade, IVUS (Boston, Philips), Carto, Abbott, and X-Per.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Cares for invasive cardiology, electrophysiology, structural heart, IR, and neuro intervention cases. Daily caseload: 12-20.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend requirement: Yes. Call required: every 4th day and 1 weekend per month. Holiday requirement: 2 major and 1 minor.
5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
2 Charge/Lead references required

Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certification CI
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
