Make a meaningful impact supporting students across grades K-8 by working as a full-time School Psychologist in a dynamic educational environment near Rockford, IL. Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid School Psychologist certification/license in Illinois
  • Familiarity with K-8 school settings and diverse student populations
  • Strong assessment, report writing, and counseling skills
  • Proficient in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for assessment
  • Develop and implement interventions and strategies to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Serve as a key member of Individualized Education Program (IEP) and problem-solving teams
  • Support teachers and families with resources, strategies, and recommendations for student success
  • Facilitate student groups and offer short-term counseling services as needed
  • Communicate findings, reports, and recommendations clearly to staff and parents
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to remain current on best practices

This full-time contract role (37.5 hours per week) allows you to work closely with students and staff, helping cultivate a supportive educational experience throughout the school year.
