Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design parts, drawings, and large assemblies using SolidWorks, perform engineering analyses and simulations, and provide support to the production floor for design changes or process improvements. You will collaborate with the testing department to develop and build test protocols, and use ERP systems for data management related to our products.
Responsibilities
- Design parts, drawings, and large assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Perform engineering analyses and simulations.
- Support the production floor with design changes or process improvements.

- Utilize ERP for data management related to products.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD.
- Experience in mechanical design, particularly with metals, fabricated and welded machine parts.
- Understanding of GD&T and electromechanical design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a related degree.
- Knowledge of machine building, welding, or fabrication methods.
- 3+ years of experience in a relevant field; Co-ops and internships may count as experience.
Work Environment
The majority of your time will be spent in the office, with frequent collaboration on the production floor during design changes or testing phases. The role offers a dynamic work environment with the opportunity to work on innovative products, particularly for military and defense applications. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.00 - $38.50/hr.
