Required Qualifications:

• Active IL PEL – Paraprofessional credential
• Registered Behavior Technician certification (RBT)
• Previous experience with school-aged children preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to follow individualized student behavior intervention plans
• Capacity to adapt to dynamic classroom environments and needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students using behavioral strategies as directed by case managers or supervising staff
• Implement prescribed interventions and collect relevant data
• Assist classroom teachers with maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Support the development and achievement of student goals within Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, therapists, and school administrators
• Foster independence and positive behaviors among students within K-12 classrooms
