Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Illinois Paraprofessional Educator License (IL PEL - Paraprofessional) required
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential highly preferred
• Proven experience in a school or educational setting working with children ages K–12
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to implement behavior intervention plans under supervision
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide direct 1:1 or group behavioral support to students as outlined in intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
• Assist students with academic, social, and behavioral goals
• Collect and document data on student progress
• Support classroom safety and positive behavioral outcomes
• Adapt to evolving classroom needs with professionalism and compassion
