Histology Associate/ Pay Rate: $25/hr on W2

Duration:    12 Months

Pay Rate:    $25 - $27/hr on W2

Shift:           1st Shift, Mon-Fri from 7:30-4:00pm. OT is available, but not required

Description:

The Opportunity

• Prepare tissue samples for microscopic examination
• Operate and maintain histology laboratory equipment
• Ensure quality control and compliance with laboratory standards
• Assist pathologists with specimen analysis and embedding tissue's while standing throughtout the working hours
• Follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines

Who You Are

·         0–5 years of experience

·         Strong problem-solving skills

·         Excellent communication abilities

·         Knowledge of industry best practices

·         well suited candidates are quick learners and self-starters

Preferred:

·         Histotechnician or Histotechnologist certification

·         Previous lab experience preferred

·         Certification in histotechnology preferred

Education:

·         Highschool diploma or GED is required
