Job Description
Join a team that helps build some of the nation's most recognizable structures, industrial facilities, and large-scale construction projects. This role is responsible for performing high-quality MIG (GMAW) welding on structural steel components used in complex commercial, industrial, and infrastructure applications. Candidates will work in a fast-paced fabrication environment focused on safety, quality, and production excellence.
Location: Greeley, Colorado
Available Shifts and Starting Pay:
Day Shift
- Monday through Friday, 6AM-4:30PM - $19.30/hr
Night Shift
- Monday through Friday, 5:30PM-4:30AM - $20.30/hr
- Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on structural steel members, assemblies, and components according to blueprints, weld procedures, and quality standards.
- Complete TIG welding and other welding processes as required to support fabrication operations.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, shop prints, and weld symbols.
- Set up, operate, and adjust welding machines and related equipment to ensure proper weld penetration and quality.
- Inspect finished welds for accuracy, strength, and compliance with company and customer specifications.
- Repair or rework welds when necessary to meet quality requirements.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Work closely with fitters, fabricators, inspectors, and supervisors to meet production schedules.
- Handle large structural steel components using cranes, hoists, and material handling equipment as needed.
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and production-ready.
- Maintain dependable attendance and adhere to assigned shift schedules.
- Previous MIG welding experience preferred; entry-level welders are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to read tape measures, basic blueprints, and welding symbols preferred.
- Experience working with structural steel, heavy fabrication, or manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work safely around heavy steel materials and fabrication equipment.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greeley, CO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.30 - $20.30/hr.
