This contract opportunity offers a full-time position near Rockford, IL, for the 2026-2027 school year, running from August 10, 2026, through June 4, 2027. You’ll be part of a committed school staff, collaborating with educators, families, and administrators to support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.

Ideal candidates bring a strong background in psychological assessment and intervention within the school environment. The role is set at 37.5 hours per week, providing ample opportunity to connect with a diverse group of students and affect positive change.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for psychology credentials in the state
  • Experience supporting K-8 students in school-based settings (preferred)
  • Skilled in conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and providing counseling
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver targeted interventions and counseling for groups and individuals
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student success
  • Assist in crisis intervention and proactive prevention initiatives
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and comply with all relevant laws and regulations
