Job Description
Make an impact in the lives of students with this exciting contract opportunity as a dedicated school psychologist for the upcoming academic year. Serving across an entire district, this position primarily focuses on supporting elementary learners while offering the chance to work with K-12 students. The role provides meaningful, school-based services through direct student evaluations and the creation of comprehensive IEPs and educational plans.
This assignment is full time at 35 hours per week, running from August 26, 2026, to June 15, 2027.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Eligible for or currently holding a New Hampshire School Psychologist endorsement (0046), Associate School Psychologist certification, or New Hampshire Psychologist License
- Master’s degree or higher is strongly preferred
- Prior experience conducting student evaluations and developing IEPs and educational plans for K-12, especially elementary students
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychological and educational assessments for students, focusing on elementary but supporting K-12 as needed
- Develop, write, and review IEPs and individualized plans in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Deliver direct student support and interventions aligned with their educational needs
- Participate in problem-solving and intervention teams to promote students’ academic, social, and emotional growth
- Consult and communicate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement best practices and student plans
