Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as a School Psychologist supporting K-12 students in a vibrant community near New Bedford, MA. This role begins in August 2026 and continues through June 2027, offering you the chance to make a real impact across multiple grade levels. Expect a manageable caseload of approximately 70 students as you provide essential psychological services in a collaborative, supportive educational environment.

A weekly commitment of 35-40 hours, Monday through Friday, ensures you have a structured yet consistent schedule. Leverage your expertise to foster student growth, champion mental well-being, and participate in multidisciplinary evaluations that shape positive learning experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Active School Psychologist Credential required.
  • Previous experience with K-12 student populations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with conducting psychoeducational assessments and developing interventions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Understanding of IEP processes and federal/state special education regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions.
  • Provide direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and families.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and outside professionals on multidisciplinary teams.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to eligibility decisions, and monitor student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to compliance standards.
  • Deliver crisis support and preventive mental health services as needed.
