Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting student growth and success as a School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year, serving a diverse K-12 caseload near North Dartmouth, MA. You’ll play a pivotal role in fostering student well-being and academic achievement, working collaboratively with educators and families.
Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist Credential required
- Proven expertise in providing psychological services within school settings
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to equity and supporting a diverse student population
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized interventions based on student needs
- Serve as a resource for teachers, administrators, and families in supporting student learning and mental health
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations
- Maintain accurate documentation and student records in compliance with district and legal guidelines
- Provide crisis intervention and prevention strategies when necessary
- Offer counseling and support for students facing academic or behavioral challenges
