Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students during the 26/27 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials. This full-time position offers 37.5 hours per week, working with K-12th grade students—assignments may vary based on your clinical experience. As you work near Lawrence, MA, your expertise will make a meaningful difference in a vibrant, diverse community, where approximately 90% of the district's students are bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese. Bilingual abilities in these languages are highly valued and will be an asset to your role.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Active state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • School-based experience with K-12th grade populations preferred
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services across diverse grade levels
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Accurately assess, document, and report student progress and ongoing needs
  • Adapt therapy approaches to engage bilingual and multicultural learners
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to district-wide initiatives as needed
