Desired Background & Credentials:
- Current (or pending) Michigan School Psychologist license
- Experience or training in school psychological services across K-12
- Excellent assessment, counseling, and consultative skills
- Strong communication for collaborating with families, teachers, and support staff
- Flexibility and cultural competence working with diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students suspected of disabilities or needing support
- Deliver evidence-based interventions in academic, behavioral, and emotional domains
- Consult with teachers, families, and specialized school teams to develop effective strategies
- Contribute to IEP meetings with insightful reporting and recommendations
- Support schoolwide programs that advance mental wellness and positive learning environments
